Return to Golf – Opening Procedures

We are delighted to say that golf will be back with us very soon – indeed we hope on Friday 29th May.

To all our loyal members, many thanks for your support over this difficult period, your understanding and patience has been appreciated. Now hopefully we can move forward with golf being played on the links again and we keep our fingers crossed that the sun continues to shine.

Please find the Current Procedures Link  in place as we return to Social golf. This document is detailed to enable us to meet our statutory requirements set by the Government and Scottish Golf. The Scottish Government has indicated that the “broad 5 miles” travel restriction has some flexibility and suggests people make their own judgement.

Click Here for the instructions on how to download the Club Systems App to enable members to utilise the online tee booking system, which is located under the Club Website Tab within the App. Online booking will still remain available via the Club website.
Members should be aware that reports from other Clubs around the Country have indicated that their online booking systems have been unable to deal with the high volume of usage.

Please read these procedures and assist the staff and the Club to carry out its statutory requirements. We are hearing of tough sanctions being taken in other Home Nation countries where some courses have been closed again as the members failed to abide by the rules. Golf is in a very fortunate position to be re-opened before many more sports and the governing bodies are reminding everyone that we are being watched carefully by the other sports.
We are looking forward to having golfers reclaiming the course again.
Take care.
